WILLIAM BRAMLETT BOOTH

William Bramlett Booth was born in Warren Co., Mississippi in 1837, son of John Booth b. 1807 who had married Nancy Roberts b. 1812 at Hines Co MS.    John and Nancy Booth migrated to Spring Hill at some point prior to 1866 when their daughter, Laura Booth, married Henry Fullerton III. 

 

His daughter, Nancy Booth, received a Navarro Co. cattle brand in 1866 without mention of her husband.   Other children included Rachael Booth who married Samuel Jetton; Amanda Booth who married William Andrew Kirk; and Thomas James Booth who died in the Civil War.

 

William Bramlett Booth, Warren Booth, John B Booth, and S Booth b. 1844 served the CSA as members of the Dresden Texas Cavalry.

 

The Booth family was traced back to Thomas Booth who lived at Horry Co NC.   His daughter, Mary Elizabeth Booth b. about 1780, married John James Treadwell, son of Terrell T Treadwell.   Their son, John Thomas Treadwell b. 1812, married in Navarro Co 1874.
