Ervin McClure Boyd was born 31 August 1899.  He married Lucy Dale Lindsey on 12 September 1920.  Lucy was the daughter of William Martin Lindsey & Nancy Jane (Osborne) Lindsey.  They had seven children, Elsie Alomoa Boyd, Lindsey Boyd, Altha Verna Boyd, Doris Louise Boyd, Wallace McClue Boyd, Billy Ray Boyd, and Donna Maxine Boyd.  Ervin died Nov 30, 1980 in Ellis County, Texas and Lucy died on March 8, 1974 in Tarrant Co., TX.  The are buried at the Dresden Cemetery at Dresden, Navarro Co., TX
