John Robert Castellaw was the s/o James Monroe Castellaw and Sarah Ann Stough.   He married Susie Elizabeth Bayless in Navarro County, Texas. (see photo of marriage license).  They are buried at the Campbell-Elrod Cemetery in Navarro Co., TX.

OBITUARIES

Rites on Saturday For J. R. Castellaw

Funeral services for J. R. Castellaw, age 67 years, who died at his home in the Eureka community Wednesday, were held from the Corley Chapel Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial was in Campbell cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, three brothers, and other relatives.

J. R. CASTELLAW DIED WEDNESDAY IN EUREKA COMMUNITY

John Robert Castellaw, age 67 years, died at his home in the Eureka community Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held from the Corley chapel but the time has not been set pending word from a grandson, Lt. Robert W. Terry, U. S. Army Air Forces. Burial will be in Campbell cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Eureka; two grandsons, Lt. Terry, U. S. army; Clyde Terry, Houston; a daughter, Mrs. W. L. Parks, Houston; three brothers, Hall Castellaw, Springfield, Ill.; Tom Castellaw, Barry; Sim Castellaw, Midland; a sister, Mrs. E. M. Cornell, Corsicana and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Paul Chandler, Bob Martin, A. J. Garland, M. O. Bayless, L. E. Smith and Scott Lowry.

Mrs. Castellaw Expires Sunday

Mrs. Susie Castellaw, 85, native of Arkansas, long-time Corsicana resident, died in a Hawkins rest home Sunday. She had been in Hawkins four months.

Funeral services will be held from the Corley Chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Campbell cemetery.

The rites will be conducted by Rev. Paul Wiseman, pastor of the Eleventh Avenue Methodist church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. W. L. Parks, Goliad; two grandsons, a brother, M. O. Bayless, Corsicana, and other relatives.
