OBITUARY

Mrs. Lydia A. Dixon

Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia A. Dixon, 83, of 1522 Whitaker, a Dallas resident since 1941, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Edgemont Baptist Church, 1519 S. Denley, with Rev. Cecil T. Baker officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Hill [Blooming Grove]. Mrs. Dixon died in a local hospital Wednesday after a long illness.
She was a native of Tyler and a long time member of the Methodist church. She was the widow of Frank Dixon.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Roy Bevan of Palmyra, Mo., and Mrs. May File, Mrs. W. L. Tate and Mrs. Mary Baker of Dallas; a son, Eddie Dixon of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Driver of Fort Worth and Mrs. V. M. Rash of Italy, Tex.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
