James Ellis b. 6/14/1818 KY, d. 6/20/1890 Denton Co., TX m. Mary Parker b. 6/15/1819 in Guilford Co., NC d. 12/30/1902 Denton Co., TX. James andMary are my ggg grandparents. They are the great grandparents of Earl Ellis, WWII veteran buried in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, Corsicana, Texasand the parents of Captain "Cap" Marvin Ellis (who was killed in Corsicana on Christmas Eve, 1932, by a hit and run driver) who is buried in RiceCemetery, Rice, Texas. This photo was taken 3/10/1890 on their 50th wedding anniversary.
