HENRY FULLERTON

Eight families from Ireland migrated to South Carolina in 1821, settled later in Green Co AL, but were in the Staggers Point-Benchley area of Robertson’s Colony in Mexican Texas by 1834.

FULLERTON:           From Co Antrim, Ireland…..

RICE:                         Jimmie H Rice

SEALE:                      Bradford & Mary Henry Seale

DUNN:                       James & Isabella Dunn.

 

Robert Henry, Edward McMillan, William Fullerton, and Mathew Dunn from Staggers Point served with Sam Houston at the Battle of San Jacinto.    William Fullerton died in an Indian fight near Marlin TX 1838.   Others in the fight included Brit Dawson and Robert Harve Matthews.

 

 

William Walker, born in Ireland and married to Elizabeth, also, lived at Staggers Point.    Their children were:
