Fred Hightower was born on December 8, 1895 to Raleigh Benjamin "Rolli" & Thula Viola (Thompson) Hightower.  He died on June 14, 1952 and was buried in the Frost Cemetery, Frost, Navarro County, Texas.
 

OBITUARY

Fred Hightower Rites At Frost
FROST, June 18—(Spl.)—Funeral services for Fred Hightower, 57, who died Saturday in a Veteran Administration hospital in Marlin were held, at the Frost cemetery at 3 p. m. Sunday. He had been in the hospital the past seven months.

Surviving are his wife of Waco a son, R. J. Hightower, Waco; daughter, Mrs. Fredy Stavenaw, San Antonio; five grandchildren two sisters, Mrs. H. W. Brown Graham, and Mrs. A. F. Allen Frost; four brothers, Ben Hightower, Abilene; Ruben Hightower, Galveston; Loyd Hightower, Hobbs, N. M., and Carl Hightower, Fort Worth.

Nephews were pallbearers.

Rev. C. C. Ellis, pastor of the Frost Baptist church, and Rev. Malvin Truex, conducted the rites.
