OBITUARY

STREETMAN NEWS.
(Streetman Enterprise.)

Died Suddenly at Winkler.

Fred Jefferies died suddenly Wednesday evening at his home at Winkler. He was 76 years old and had lived in the Winkler community for forty years.

He was in apparently good health and was sitting in his chair on the front porch when the end came. He died about dark or early in the night.

Mr. Jefferies was one of our oldest citizens, and was widely known and thought well of by the entire country. He was also an old Confederate veteran.

We extend our deepest sympathy to the grief stricken relatives and friends.
