I have no information as to when this picture was taken.  I feel very early into their marriage.

John Henry Lewis b. July1,1860 in Limestone Co. to Moses and Elizabeth Lewis she died at childbirth. Moses was a blacksmith. Moses married again to Ann Cain.

Tula Mae Wilson was born around 1876 one report show Iowa but my relatives say that is wrong she was born in are near Corsicana. to James Calvin Wilson and Lucy Jane Harris.

Her Great-grandmother was a Coffee from Wales Harris from Iceland and Wilson from Scotland (unofficial)
John H. Lewis m. Tula Mae Wilson Oct. 2 1890 at Big Hill in Limestone Co. TX.  Together they had 16 children from 1891 until 1915 my mother was the youngest.
I never knew them he died in 1935 or 36 she died in 1945 I was very young only remember her as being ill in bed. No vision of how she looked.

My other grandparent were Lynch's from Corsicana my great-grandfather Lynch came from Ireland to NY May 7 1846 not know when he came to TX.  His name was Thomas Lynch .m Cathrine McKey.Also heard he served in Confederate Army 1869 in Rusk co.

He came to Freestone Co. and at some point was robbed and murdered on his way home to Birdston from Streetman when he had gone to sell his crops.
My grandfather was Mack Lynch m. Dora Adamson her father was John Adamson

His job in Corsicana was to drive a team of mules and pull the wagon that oiled the streets.  I remember the oiled streets very well.  I was born in Corsicana but moved away very young, house on 15th street is still standing! The Dr was Dr Hamil who my mother had to always come back to Corsicana and see no matter where we lived .
