Wilson School, Bazette, Navarro Co., TX - 1919
The lady in front is Miss Allie E. Crawford, teacher.  The students in the window are: L to R:  Unidentified, Mid Tyner, Joe Bailey Nelson.  Miss Crawford had a lasting impression and relationship with both my Father, Joe Nelson, and his twin brother, Jim Nelson.  Well over fifty years after this picture was taken, Miss Allie, as she was affectionately called, attended both my parent's and aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary parties.  I do not know if she was this "connected" with all her students, but she was definitely and influence on my Father and Uncle.
