Albert Lee & Georgia Arlena Virginia (Wells) Osborne

Albert Lee Osborne, the son of Ephraim Brevard & Nancy Elizabeth (Smith) Osborne, was born 10 May 1877 in Emmett, Navarro Co., TX.  On 26 December 1896, he married Georgia Arlena Virginia Wells, the daughter of Benjamin Isaac & Mary Jane (White) Wells.  Albert died on 13 July 1966 in Corsicana, Navarro Co., TX and Georgia died on 9 July 1944 in Corsicana, Navarro Co., TX.  They are both buried at the Prairie Grove Cemetery at Emmett, Navarro Co., TX.

OBITUARIES

A. L. Osborne Dies; Rites Held Thursday A. L, Osborne, 89, native of Emmett, 1200 West Fourteenth avenue, died in Twilight Home Wednesday afternoon following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday from the Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating were Rev. Riley Dale of Texas City and Rev. O. E. Permenter, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial was in the Emmett cemetery. Grandsons were pallbearers.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Osborne, Corsicana; five daughters, Mrs. Lucille Huston, Mrs. Roberta Cashion, and Mrs. Marie Prater, all of Fort Worth; Mrs. Bernice Jones, Hillsboro; Mrs. Vesta Irwin, Whitley; three sons, Clyde Osborne, Corsicana; Jack Osborne, Rialto, Calif., and Dub Osborne, Cleburne; two brothers, Melvin Osborne, Corsicana, and P. G. Osborne Mexia; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Ballew, Emmett; a number of grandchilden and great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Osborne was a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist church in Emmett.
Corley directed.

MRS. A. L. OSBORNE DIED HERE SUNDAY; BURIAL AT EMMETT
Funeral services for Mrs. A. L. Osborne, aged 64 years, who died at her home 1200 West Sixteenth Avenue Sunday morning, were held from the Emmett Baptist church Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Burial was in the Emmett cemetery. Rev. S. R. Goff conducted the rites.
Surviving ate her husband, three sons, Clyde Osborne, Corsicana; Jack Osborne Yuma, Ariz.; S. W. Osborne. U. S. Army; six daughters, Mrs. P. A. Fuston, Waco; Mrs. Gus Jones, Hillsboro; Mrs. J. W. Cashion. Belmeade; Mrs. L. L. Irwin, Mesquite; Mrs. S. F. Holloway. Norfolk. Ca.; Mrs. C. S. Prater Corsicana; 15 grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers were J. C. Kornagay, Lee Ballew E. B. Ballew, Jimmy Coffey. Eddie Moore and Calvin Dunagan.
Corley's Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
