Construction of a gravel road from Retreat store and filling station on Highway 31 southwest of Corsicana, to Hamilton cemetery has been started, Jim Taylor, commissioner of Precinct 1, announced Wednesday. The new road is one mile in length.
The dump has been prepared and gravel, nine or ten inches in thickness, will be put on the road.  The gravel is being secured from the old interurban dump and recently was purchased by the commissioner, it was stated.
This will give an all-weather road to this cemetery
