Duncan and Mary Ann Courtney (both buried in Dawson).  He was the grandson of Noah Missouri "Marion" Duncan and Malinda Frances Heard (Herd/Heird) (see reference on Noah Marion Duncan biography), both buried at Mabank Cemetery, Mabank, Kaufman Co., TX.  Emma Mae (Herd) Duncan was the d/o George Thomas Herd and Ellie Fair Honeycutt.

Notes:

• Harvey Leonidas "Lee" Duncan was the s/o Samuel L. Duncan and Mary Ann Courtney. (see ref. to Noah M. Duncan biography).  He married Ruby "Cutie" Bates on 11/9/1935
