New Road To Rose Hill Cemetery

This community is greatly indebted to Mrs. J. D. George, Mrs. W. J.
Spurlock, Mayor R. S. High and John M. Thompson for donating land, making possible the building of the nice new road which intersects highway 22 in the west part of town.

This nice new road leading to Rose Hill cemetery is a wonderful improvement over the old road we have been using, and is a project of Commissioner Drew Gillen. It is a mighty nice road and is greatly appreciated by everyone.

During the wet weather Commissioner Drew Gillen and his road hands have been hauling white rock from the old railroad dump and spreading it over the new road leading from Highway 22 the west city limits leading to Rose Hill cemetery. This road, when completed will be an all weather road and one that we all fully appreciate.
