This was my grandparent's, The Alexander Hunter Strain's, home in Frost and was built by and purchased from J. M. Scott around 1910.  Please refer to the Navarro County History book, Volume Four, Old Homes of Navarro County, page 301 for a picture of the home and a brief history submitted by my mother, Sammie Strain Armstrong.  (There have been several changes to the home in its over-100-year  existence, but nevertheless, it is the same home.)  It will also be featured in the new Frost History book.
