Ewell Goswick
Jun 28, 1900 - Jan 2, 1972

Card Of Thanks In Memory Of Ewell Goswick January 21, 1973, Corsicana Daily Sun

Born June 28, 1900 at Barry, Texas, he passed away January 2, 1972. He left behind a wife, four daughters, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, his mother age 90, a brother and two sisters.

Many of you will remember him from the many years he drove and operated the City Bus here.

His loved ones want to take this means of thanking the doctors & nurses, for their dedicated professional service. Our appreciation also goes to the ministers, and our many friends and relatives for their comforting expressions of sympathy during our time of sorrow.

He married Mae Park on December 9, 1922. They celebrated their Golden Anniversary only 24 days before his passing. To the may friends who braved the weather on that icy Sunday in December to share that happy occasion, we are so thankful. To all who visited them throughout the month we thank you. As the Bible says "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep." This you have done and we will be forever grateful.

In loving memory of our husband and father we share this poem.

Loving Memories

Your gentle face and patient smile
With sadness we recall
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the heart,
That loved as well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten loved one
Nor' will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore.
As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face
No one can fill your vacant place.
