Some of my ancestors lived in Ellis/Navarro Counties between ca 1864-1902. Jacob A. HESSER (b. 1838 Sangamon Co. Ill.) m/1 Margaret H. MARCHBANKS (prob. b. Tenn. 1833). He apparently m/2 Charlotte McKENNEY. An obit for a Maggie H. Hesser printed in the Corsicana Observer in 1874 states she died in Ellis County. One Jacob A. Hesser was living in Corsicana in 1880, per census. Any help appreciated.
