FROST GRADUATION
EXERCISES PLANNED
ON FRIDAY EVENING

FROST, May 25.—(Spl.)—The
graduation exercises of the Frost
High school will be held in the
auditorium of the high school
building Friday evening, May 27,
at which time 11 boys and 12 girls
will receive diplomas. The class
rol1s made up of the following:
Boys—Bill Burns, John Mc-
Cord, Hugh Lynn Osborne, Buddy
Barker, Wendell Warren, Sam
Dawson, Roy Bowen, I. N. Curray,
E. A. Zollicoffer, Harold
Summers and Joe Green,
Girls—Sammie English, Jean
Jones, Stella Parum, Frances Palmer,
Joy Sunders, Lois Brittain,
Kathleen Cagle, Juanita Dortch,
Juanita Smith. Frankie Slay, Gay
Ponder and Fanell Smith.
Lois Brittain has been chosen
valedictorian of the class and
Charles Barker salutatorian.
Eight members of the class—
Lois Brittain, Buddy Barker, Jean
Jones, Gay Ponder, Juanita Smith,
Joy Sanders, Fanell Smith and
Juanita Dortch made a yearly average
grade of 90 or above.
Dr. Allen True of the history
department of Texas Christian
University, Fort Worth, will deliver
the graduation address.
Baccalaureate Services.
Baccalaureate services for Frost
High school were held Sunday
evening, May 22, in the high
school assembly room. Rev. Herman
McCoy of Waxahachie delivered
the sermon on "How to Live
a Great Life." Special songs were
sung under the direction of Miss
Deene Newell, a teacher in the
Frost School. Donald Tullos, Joe
Bruner, James Kyle Allen and
Lynn Stevenson of the junior class
were ushers.
