Commencement Address
Made By Judge W. F.
Ramsey of Dallas
With appropriate exercises, featuring
school songs and the announce-
ment of the honor scholars for the
your, the annual commencement of
the State Home school were conducted
last night in the State Home school
auditorium. Friends and patrons of
the school filled the auditorium to
capacity. The stage was beautifully
decorated in the class colors of green
and white and was occupied by the
graduating class, with the younger
inmates of the institution occupying
the front rows of seats.
Chorus singing by the student body
was much in evidence and was frequently
supplemented by orchestra music.
The exercises were opened with an
invocation by Rev. F. N. Calvin and
a song by the entire school.
The remainder of the exercises con-
sisted of the program prepared by
the graduating class, the commencement
address by Judge W. F. Ramsey
of Dallas and a review of the various
activities of the year.
The program was closed by the
presentation of diplomas by Senator
J. H. Woods to the following pupils:
Lucile Billington, Beulah Richmond,
Sue Owens, William Burke, Pete Hebel,
Grady Calvert and Cecil Kelly.

Class Grumbler—William Burke.
Cornet Solo—Pete Hebel.
Forecaster—Lucille Billingston.
Girls' Glee Club—Selection.
Senior Bequest—Cecil Kelly.
Junior Response—Annie Garrett.
Class Song—Senior Class.
Valedictory—Susie Owens.

Presentation of Diplomas.
Benediction—Rev. E. P. Kennedy.
