NINE GRADUATES IN RICE SCHOOLS FOR PRESENT TERM RICE, May 24.—The 1928-29 term of the Rice public schools will close Friday night with the presentation of diplomas to the nine graduates. The grammar school exercises were held Thursday night. The baccalaureate sermon was delivered Sunday morning by Rev. S. L. Culwell, pastor of the Ennis Methodist church. The graduates arc Claudie Mae Dyer, Gertie Dyer, Dorothy Loop; Victoria Coulter, Essie Lee Neal. Roger F. Bartlett, Jr.; Rufus Burl Edmundson, Lynn South, Forest Blount.
