HENRY, RICHARD MAYS
S/Sgt. Richard Mays Henry, son of Mrs. Sidney Henry, Corsicana, graduate of Richland Schools.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Air Corps at Ft. Sam Houston.  Served 23 months with forces in E.T.O. Theater, now on duty at Ft. Summer, New Mexico.  Has Unit Citation and other Honors.
HENSON, CECIL W.
S 2/C Cecil W. Henson, son of Mrs. George C. Simpson, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the navy, 1943, trained at Corpus Christi, where now on duty.
HENSON, JOHN NOBLE
Cpl. John Noble Henson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Henson of Kerens, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps, 1943 trained at camps in Florida, Syracse, New York, Kessler Field, Miss., Lincoln, Nebraska, and Florence, South Carolina.
HENSON, HAROLD, G.
Pfc. Harold G. "Tubbie" Henson, husband of the former Miss Odera Christie.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army Infantry at Camp Robinson and Camp Pickett.  Has served in England, Belgium and Germany.  Has Combat Medal and 3 Battle Stars.
HENTHORN, GEORGE C.
Sgt. George C. Henthorn, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Henthorn, Frost, husband of the former Miss Clodean Lewis, graduate of Emmett School.  Entered Army Oct. 11, 1941, trained at Camp White, Oregon, Camp Adair, Oregon, wounded in action in Italy, 1944 now on duty in N. Africa.  Has Purple Heart.
HERD, ERNEST R.
Pfc. Ernest R. Herd, son of Mrs. Ellie Herd, formerly of Kerens, husband of the former Miss Opal Mayfield.  Mobilized with National Guard, 1940, re-entered Army Nov. 27, 1942, trained at Camp Bowie and Camp Maxey, now on duty as an M.P. in Germany.

Pfc. Pdro G. Hernandez, son of Mrs. Fransica Hernandez, Corsicana, husband of the former Lupe Mora.  Entered service, 1944, trained at Army Camp Fannin.  Has served in Holland, France, Germany, now on duty in Germany.
HEROD, HUBERT O.
Sgt. Hubert O. Herod, son of Mr. W. S. Herod, husband of the former Miss Sarah Nell Nutt, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service October, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Tarrant Field, Sheppard Field, Dodge City Army Air Field, now on duty at Del Rio, Texas.
HERRINGTON, FRANCES M.
Pvt. Frances M. Harrington, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Herrington, Corsicana, attended Grapeland and Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1945, trained with Army at South Camp Hood and Camp Howze also Ft. Meade, Maryland.  Now on duty in Hawaiian Islands.
HESS, EMMETT C., JR.
1st Lt. Emmett C. Hess, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Hess, Sr., wife of the former Miss Josephine Bain, Kerens, graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered Air Corps Oct., 1943, trained at Brady, Waco and Sehring, Fla.  Has served as instructor on B-17, Lackbourne Field, Ohio, now on duty as instructor on B-9, Lowry Field, Colo.

HEWGLEY, GRADY E.
T/Sgt. Grady E. Hewgley, husband of the former Miss Tayrene Tramel, Kerens.  Served in 21st Inf., Hawaii, 1937-1939, graduated Airplane Mech. School, Sheppard Field, 1942.  Sent overseas July, 1943, shot down on 6th Mission over Germany Sept. 6, 1943, held in German Prison Camp until May, 1945.  Served on B-17 as 1st Engineer Gunner.  Awarded Air Medal and other Medals to be awarded later.
HICKEY, JAMES A.
S 1/C James A. Hickey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hickey, Corsicana.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Navy at Morro bay, San Diego and Oceanside.  Has served in Alaska and in the Aleutian Islands.  Given Medical Discharge, 1945.
HICKEY, EUGENE V.
Cpo Eugene V. Hickey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hickey, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Jewell Tucker, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Navy at Norfolk.  Has served in New Caledonia, New Guinea and the Samoan Islands.  Now on duty in the Philippines.

Sgt. Nolen D. Hickey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hickey, Corsicana, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1940, trained at Brownwood and in Oklahoma and Massachusetts.  Has served in Sicily, Africa, Italy, France, and Germany, was discharged on Point System.  Holds 5 Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Pre-Pearl Harbor Medal and Campaign Ribbons.
HICKEY, LESLIE L.
Pvt. Leslie L. Hickey, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hickey, husband of the former Miss Marie Allmon, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army at Aberdeen, Maryland.  Has served with Ordnance at Aberdeen where he is still on duty.  Has Sharpshooters Medal.
HICKSON,  ELBERT R.
MM 2/C Elbert R. Hickson, son of D. F. Hickson, husband of the former Miss Della Faye Miller, attended Powell Schools.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Navy at San Diego, Calif.  Has served in Germany, India, France and now in San Francisco on duty.
HIGGINS, HENRY H.
Pfc. Henry H. Higgins, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Higgins, McGregor, husband of the former Miss Alyne Cagle, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army Infantry at Camp Croft.  Holds Expert Rifleman Badge.  Now in Army of Occupation in Germany.

Pfc. Douglas B. Hightower, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Hightower, Frost, atttended McCord High School. Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Camp Gruber, Ft. Sam Houston. Has served in N. Africa, Italy, now on duty there. Has Good Conduct Medal.

HILL, HERBERT L.
T/Sgt. Herbert L. Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Hill, husband of the former Miss Marian Ann Galigher, graduate of Hardin Simmons.  Trained with 11th Division in Army Band Work.  Organized Camp Bands at Camp Polk and Ft. Knox, Camp Cook and Camp Barkley.  Has served in England, Cherbourg, France, Belgium and Germany.  Has Good Conduct and Battle Stars.
HILL, HENRY C.
Sgt. Henry C. Hill, son of Mrs. Minnie Hill, Corsicana, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Medical Corps at Camp Barkley, now stationed at Ft. Sumner, N. Mexico.
