Lewis, Wash.  Served in New Guinea and is now on duty in Philippines.  Awarded APT Ribbon with Two Bronze Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with One Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal.
MAYO, ROBERT H.
GM 1/C Robert H. Mayo, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Mayo, attended Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy in 1940, training at San Diego. Served in Pacific and European Theaters.  Has Good Conduct, ETO, American Defense, Asiatic, and Pac. Ribbon.
MATTHEWS, TILLMON R.
S 1/C Tillmon R. Matthews, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Matthews.  Attended Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained in the Navy at San Diego.  Served in Hawaii, where he is now on duty.

Pvt. Charles L. Matthews, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, graduated from Corsicana High School, and attended Hillsboro Jr. College.  Entered the Air Corps in 1940, training at Kelly Field, San Antonio.  Died Jan. 20, 1941 while in training.
McAFEE, JOHN L.
Sgt. John L. McAfee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy McAfee, graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service 1941, training in the Army at Camp Hood, Ft. Knox, Served in Africa, Sicily and Italy where he was wounded 1943 Has Purple Heart Inf, Combat Badge and ETO Ribbon with three stars.

Ens. Kenneth McAfee, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. McAfee, graduated of Kerens High School. Entered service 1944. Trained with Maritime Service at Sheepshead Bay and Hoffman Island, NY

Capt. Milton A. McAfee, son of Mr. and Mrs. T.R. McAfee. Wife the former Dyerelle Clark. Graduate of Corsicana, Texas. Entered service 1940, with National Guard. Trained with 10th Anti-Aircraft Group at Camp Bowie, Ft. Sill and is now on duty in India.

Pfc. Nathan Garrett McAfee, son of Mr. and Mrs T.R. McAfee, graduate of Corsicana High School. Entered service 1943, trained with Tan Division of the Army at Camp Campbell, Ky. Has served in France and Germany. Killed in action Jan 11, 1945.

Pfc. Horace J. McAdams, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. McAdams, Emhouse.  Entered the service, 1943, trained with Army at Camp Callan, San Diego, and Ft. Ord.  Has served in New Guinea, Philippines, Luzon and Manila, now on duty on Luzon.  Has Good Conduct Medal, and Artillery Medal.

Meade, Maryland.  Has served in England, and Germany, now on duty in England where he works with 35th M. M. projection machines.  Won Purple Heart when he was injured in Germany.

Cpl. Lynn B. McCary, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. McCary, Corsicana, attended Mildred High School.  Entered the Army Air Force in 1942, trained at Kearns, Utah.  Has served in North Africa, Tunis, and Italy, now home on furlough.  Has 12 Battle Stars and the Presidential Citation.
