Pvt. Charles E. Meador, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Meador, graduate of Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained in the Army at Camp Barkley.  Served in England before being discharged 1945.

Meador, husband of former Jeanne Coiteux.  Attended Eureka Schools.  Entered service 1940.  Trained with the Army at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding and Camp Edwards.  Served n Panama where he is now on duty.  Ha Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon.

Africa, Italy, France, and Germany.  Discharged 1945.  Has Five Bronze Stars, and Good Conduct Medal.

MEGARITY, JACK
S/Sgt. Jack Megarity, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Megarity, Sr., graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service 1940.  Trained in the Army at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding and Camp Edwards.  Served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany.  Now on duty with the 36th Div.  Received Commendation from Gen. Walker for efficiency in handling ammunitions and men under his instruction.

Robinson, Haan, Camp Davis, Camp Howze and Camp Swift.  Served in France and Germany.

MELTON, ETHAN W.
S/Sgt. Ethan W. Melton, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Melton of Frost.  Graduate of Blooming Grove High School.  Entered the Air Corps Dec 29, 1941.  Served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, India.  Now on duty at Greenville, S.C. as instructor.  Has Air Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross and Pres. Citation.

Cpl. Arthur A. Melton, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Melton, Corsicana, husband of the former Louise Grace, attended School at Pickett.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, trained at Blackland Army Air Field, Waco and Greensboro, N.C.  Now on duty as M. P. at Panama.

Cpl. Henry Lloyd Metcalf, son of Albert S.  Metcalf, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mary Ruth Baker, attended Zion's Rest School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Kerns, Utah, Chanute, Field, Ill., and Camp Luna, New Mexico.  Now on duty at Homestead Airbase, Fla.

S/Sgt. Albert R. Metcalf, son of Albert S. Metcalf, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Geraldine Fay Lewis, graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Army Air Corps at Chanute Field.  Has served in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, Antiqua, Trinidad and Cuba, now on duty at Seymore Field, N.C.  Has good conduct Ribbon, American Defense Ribbon with Bronze Star.
