PERKINS, MARION E.
Sgt. Marion E. Perkins, son of Mrs. Nellie Perkins, Corsicana. Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1940.  Trained in the Army Air Corps at Camp Bowie, Aero Academy and Santa Anna, Calif.  Now on duty in Las Vegas, Nev., training as Gunnery Officer aboard a B-29.
PERKINS, RICHARD L.
Ensign Richard L. Perkins, son of Mrs. Nellie Perkins, attended Corsicana High School.  Served in Navy 1926 - 1930 at San Diego.  Entered the Merchant Marines in 1942, training at Ft. Trumbull, New London, Conn.  Served aboard U.S.S. Donald Lake.
PERRY, CURTIS B.
Pvt. Curtis B. Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben S. Perry.  Wife is the former Thelma Ruth Braddock.  Graduate of Kerens High School.  Entered the Signal Corps in 1942, training at Camp Kohler and Camp Crowder.  Now on duty at Camp Crowder.
PERRY, OTHO R.
Sgt. Otho R. Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Revis Perry, attended Blooming Grove schools.  Entered the Army, 1942, training at Sheppard Field.  Served in Australia, New Guinea and Islands in the South Pacific.  Discharged 1945.  Received Presidential Citation, Two Oak Leaf Clusters, 6 Bronze Stars, and Six Overseas Bars.
PERRY, JAMES H.
Major James H. Perry, son of Mr. Frank L. Perry, graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Air Corps 1939, training at Brooks Field, and attended Officers Candidate School.  Now on duty in Philippines.

CM 3/C Samuel Earl Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Revis Perry, attended Blooming Grove Schools.  Entered the Navy in 1943, training at North Carolina and Camp Parks, Calif.  Is now on duty in the South Pacific.
PERRY, JULIUS
Cpl. Julius Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Perry, wife is the former Dorothy Voss.  Attended Powell High School.  Entered service, 1942.  Trained with Army at Camp Wallace, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Dix.  Served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and is now on duty in Germany.  Has Good Conduct Medal.
PERRY, CHESTER
M 2/C Chester Perry, son of Frank Perry, Corsicana.  Wife is the former Opal Omega Moore.  Attended Bryan Schools.  Entered service, 1944.  Trained with the Navy at San Diego.  Served in Pearl Harbor.  Now on duty at Naval Base, Melville, R.I.
PERRYMAN, TOMMY
S. Tommy Perryman, son of Mrs. Earl Jones, attended Kerens High School.  Entered the Naval Reserve June, 1945 and is now waiting for call.
PERRYMAN, WILBURN (BILLY)
Cpl. Wilburn (Billy) Perryman, son of Mrs. Earl Jones, graduated from Kerens High School.  Entered the Air Corps, 1944, training at A.A.F.  Harlingen, Tex., Westover Field, Mass.  Is now on duty at Walla Walla, Washington.

S/Sgt. Joel Peters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Peters, Kerens.  Entered the Army, 1940, trained with 36th Division at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Ga., and Camp Edwards, Mass.  engaged in North Africa, Italy, France, and Germany.  Now on duty in Germany.  Holds 5 Major Battle Stars.
PETERS, THOMAS VERNON
S Thomas V. Peters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Peters, Kerens, husband of the former Miss Tempy Tyner, attended Kerens School.  Entered Navy, 1942, trained at Naval Station, Grand Prairie, Texas.  Given Honorable discharge.
PETTY, JACK
T/5 Jack Petty, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Petty, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss June Galowe of Leicester, England, attended Corsicana and Mildred Schools.  Entered service, 1937, trained with 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Benning, Ft. Warren, and Ft. Bliss.  Has served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, England, and Holland, France and Belgium.  Wounded 1945 in Belgium, discharged, 1945.  Has Campaign Ribbons, Combat Inf. Bdge, Distinguished Unit Citation, Presidential Citation. Bronze Star and Good Conduct Ribbon.
PETTY, WILLIAM R.
AMM 1/C William R. Petty, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Petty, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Dorothy Burk, attended Mildred and Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Naval Aviation at Kingsville.

Pfc. S. L. Pevehouse, son of Mr. Sam Pevehouse, Frost, husband of the former Miss Elwanda Smith, attended Frost High School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army at Camp Hood.  Has served in England, France, and Italy, where now on duty.  Has Combat Infantryman Badge.

PHELPS, VIVIAN L.
Pvt. Vivial L. Phelps, son of Mrs. Laura Phelps of Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Rosa Lee Territo, attended school at Cryer Creek.  Entered Army on March 8, 1945, trained at Fort Lewis, Washington, where he is now on duty.
PHENNY, CLEVELAND W.
Pvt. Cleveland W. Phenny, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Blessing, husband of the former Miss Marie Garrison, attended Emhouse Schools.  Entered service, 1943, discharged, 1943.
PHINNY, JOHN A.
S/Sgt. John A. Phinny, son of Mrs. J. D. Blessing, husband of the former Miss Norene Wren.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Infantry at Camp Adair, and Camp Carson.  Has served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, now enroute to Pacific.  Has Good Conduct, Infantry Combat, and 3 Battle Stars.
