Pfc. Jethro M. Sims, son of Mrs. R. L. Hightower, Frost, husband of the former Miss Johnie Lane, attended Frost High School.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Sheppard Field, Lubbock Air Field, Randolph Field and Tarrant Field, now on duty at Tarrant Field.

Sill, Okla., Camp Bowie, Brownwood.  Has served in Belgium and Germany, now on duty with the Army of Occupation in Australia.  Has 3 Battle Stars.
 
SIMS, WILLIAM C.
Sgt. William C. Sims, son of Mrs. Leslie Hammett, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Janice Stewart, attended Kerens School.  Entered service, 1944, trained with Army Air Corps at Lowery Field, and Las Vegas.  Has served in England and now on duty in California.
 
SIMS, CLIFTON, B.
Pvt. Clifton B. Sims, son of Mrs. W. W. Sims, Kerens, Texas, attended Bazette School.  Enlisted Air Corps Oct., 1942, trained at San Antonio, Texas, W.A.F.S., Waco, Texas, Smyrna Air Base, Tenn.  Seymour Jonson Field, N.C.  Has served on New Guinea and the Philippines, where now on duty.

Singleton, husband of the former Miss Eva Wall, graduate from North Texas State, M.A. State University.  Entered service, 1942, trained with U.S. Navy Coast Guard at New Orleans, New York.  Has served in Australia, New Guinea, Los Negros, now on duty in Mobile.

S/Sgt. Willie "Shorty" Sirman, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Sirman, Corsicana, graduated from Mildred Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Roswell, New Mexico.  Has served in New Guinea, now on duty on Moluccas.  Has 5 Battle Stars.
 
SIRMAN, JOHN M.
T/Sgt. John M. Sirman, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Sirman, Corsicana, attended Mildred Schools.  Entered service, 1942, trained with Air Corps at Sheppard Field and discharged, 1945.  Has D.F.C., 6 Oak Leaf Clusters and 3 Battle Stars.
 
SISSON, THOMAS E.
Pfc. Thomas E. Sisson, son of Mrs. Pearl W. Actkinson, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered the service, 1944, trained with the Army Anit-Aircraft Division at El Paso, Camp Hann, California, and Gainesville, Tex.  Has served in Germany and France, wounded on April 13, 1945.  Has Purple Heart.

Chief Radio Technician Charles W. Skelton, son of Mrs. Estelle Skelton.  Wife, the former Jeanette Purifoy.  Graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1942, training with the Navy at Oklahoma A&M and Treasure Island, Calif.  Now serving in the South Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Concord.

M/Sgt. John F. Skelton, son of Mrs. Estelle V. Skelton, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Koris McKamy.  Entered service, 1942, training with the Air Transport Command at Las Vegas.  Was Chief Radio Technical Inspector, Love Field, Dallas.  Served in Egypt and is now on duty in India as Radio Operator on Planes delivering supplies to China.  Has Ribbons with Battle Star, Sharpshooter Medal, Expert Medal for Carbine.

Pfc. John E. Slate, son of J. H. and Nellie V. Slate, Corsicana.  Wife, the former Inez Farmer.  Graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with the Air Corps at Sheppard Field and Laredo.  Served in New Caledonia, New Guinea and is now on Luzon.
