Graduate of Texas A&M where he served as cadet lt. col. during his senior year. Served 18 months in Mediterranean Theater with the 15th Air Force and earned the Air Medal and EAME Air Force Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars. Married to the former Dixie Belle Williams of Fort Worth. Killed in a B-29 crash, Hickman Field, Hawaii, in 1948. KILLED IN MILITARY Notes:

He was pilot with the 9th Troop Carrier Command flying over the Charborg Peninsula in teh early days of D-Dat, carrying part of the first paratroopers participating in the Allied Offensive.
