ANDREW MURRAY
Cpl. Andrew Murray, Hdqtrs. Co. A., grandson of Mrs. Lillie Hall of Corsicana. Entered service July 6, 1942, serving with the 838th Engineers Bn., in the European Theater for more than 2 years.
E. J. NEELEY
Capt. E. J. Neely, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Lee Neeley of Knox, Penn. Husband of the former Margaret Putman of Navarro Mills. Entered service in 1940. Received Pilot training at Hobbs Air Force Base, Hobbs, N.M.  Injured in Battle of Pearl Harbor. Piloted planes in the battles of Guam and Midway. Received several Medals of Honor including Good Conduct Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster, and Purple Heart.
CONRAD MILTON NEWTON, JR.
1st Lt. Conrad Milton Newton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Newton of Dawson. Married to Noel Reynolds Newton. Entered service June 16, 1942. Attended OCS, Cryptographic Security School. Served 33 Months overseas in Southwest Pacific Theater. Received Citations and Campaign Medals for New Guinea and Dutch East Indies, Philippine, Okinawa, Japanese Occupation, and Southwest Pacific.

Electricians Mate 1st Class C.B., U.S. Navy John Franklin Nichols, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel M. Nichols of Chatfield. Husband of the former Billie Fae Denn of Frost. Entered the service June 18, 1942. Went overseas with the 14th Bat. Naval C.B. on Guadalcanal. Made a second trip to the Aleutian Islands with the 6th Bat. Awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Discharged Oct 25, 1945.

S/Sgt. Richard A. Nicholson, husband of Mattie Lou Folmar Nicholson of Streetman, Entered the U.S. Air Force May 2, 1942, serving at Jefferson Brks, Mo., Las Vegas, Nev., Sheppard Field, Texas, Carlsbad, N.M., Avon Park, Fla., Lake Charles, La. Trained in Gunnery School, Nev., Bombardiers School, N.M. Aircraft mechanics School, Tex. Served as an engineer-gunner on a Martin B-26 with the 9th Air Force in England. Awarded Air Medal with a 13 Oak Leaf Cluster, ETO Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal.

JOHN LEWIS NOWELL
Pvt. John Lewis Nowell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Burl B. Nowell of Corsicana. Trained at Ft. Sam Houston and Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, going overseas in Sept, 1943, with the 2nd Inf. Div., he invaded France on D-Day and participated in all the major engagements in Belgium and Germany.  He was a POW in Germany.
DEWEY OSTEEN
S/Sgt Dewey Osteen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Osteen of Corsicana. Entered service Nov. 1942. Served overseas with the 351st Bombing Group. Awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services in connection with Military operations against an enemy of the U.S. while serving as group draftsman and N.C.O. in charge of the map room.

HOMER E. PACE, JR.
Capt. Homer E. Pace, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer E. Pace. Sr. of Corsicana. Graduate of Texas A. & M. Entered service Nov. 30, 1943. Served as an Inf. Unit Cdmr., Supply and Evacuation Off. and Statistician with the 475th Inf. and part of the Mars Task Force, and Hdqrs. in China Theater. This organization became the only major supply and evacuation base for China. Duties concurrent with those of a supply Off. on the staff of the Commanding Gen. of a theater of Operations were assumed. Awarded Inf. Combat Medal, Pacific theater with 2 Clusters, China Theater Medal, Good Conduct Medal. Honorably discharged Sept 29, 1946.

S 1/C Detroit M. Packer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Detroit M. Packer. Attended Jackson High School, Corsicana, and Prairie View College. Entered the Navy in 1943, serving at the Boston, Mass. receiving sta. Unit 1.
