BRISTER, NOEL F.
Pfc Noel F. Brister, son of the late Mr. P. H. and Mrs. Brister, attended Kerens High School. Entered the Army M.C. Jan., 1943, training at camp Roberts and Ft. Ord, Calif. Served in Australia and New Guinea. A patient in hospitals in Calif., Utah and Little Rock, Ark. Received medical discharge.

BRISTER, ERMEL H.
S/Sgt Ermel H. Brister, son of Mrs. Ada H. Brister, graduated from Powell High School.  Entered the Air Corps in 1939, training at Jefferson Barracks.  Now on duty in South Pacific.
BRISTER, ELBERT L.
Pvt. Elbert L. Brister, son of Ada H. Brister, graduated from Richland Schools.  Entered the Marines in 1944, training at Oceanside Calif.  Now on duty on Okinawa.

Cpl. Burnice R. Britton, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Britton, graduated from Frost schools.  Wife is the former Midlred Britton.  Entered the army in 1942, training in the Infantry at Gainesville and La.  Now on duty in Germany.

BROOKS, RAY O.
Lt. (jg) Ray O. Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brooks, was a graduate of Barry High. Entered the Navy Air Corps 1942, training at Lakehurst, New Jersey. Served in Brazil where he is not on duty.

BROOKS, LLOYD W.
1st Lt. Lloyd W. Brooks, son of MR. and Mrs. C. H. Brooks, entered service 1942. Trained in Meteorology at Bergsrom Field, Austin, Orlando, Fla. Served in New Guina and South Pacific. Now on duty in PHilippines. Lt. Brooks formerly taught school in Corsicana Public Schools.

BROUGHTON, HERSHEL W.
CM 1/C Hershel W. Broughton, son of Mrs. May Hillis, husband of former Genie Dawson. Entered service in 1943, training in the Navy Seabees Demolition Unit at Camp Endicott, R.I. Served on Guadalcanal, Australia, Tulagi, New Caledonia, and Bouganville. Wounded on Bougainville in 1944. Discharged May 1941. Served in four major battles.

S 2/C Johnnie W. Broussard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Broussard.  Graduated from Corsicana High School.  Entered the Navy in 1944, training at San Diego, Gulfport and Miami.  Now on duty in Pacific.

BROWN, AUBREY E.
Sgt. Aubrey E. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Brown, attended Powell High School.  Entered service 1942, training at Camp Barkley with 90th Division.  Served in France, and Germany.  Wounded in Germany 1944.  Has Good Conduct Medal, 5 Battle Stars.  Now on duty in Germany.

Cpl. Weldon W. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Brown.  Wife is the former Earlene Easley.  Attended Frost High School.  Entered service 1940, training with 36th Division at Camp Bowie, Camp Blanding, Camp Edwards.  Served in Africa, Italy, France, and Germany.  Now on duty in France.

Sgt. Douglas L. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Brown of Purdon, attended the Purdon schools.  Entered the Air Force Nov., 1941, training at Keesler Field, Biloxi, Miss., Baltimore, Md., and Jefferson Barracks, Mo.  Served in New Caledonia, Guadalcanal, and Solomons.  Has Good Conduct Ribbon and two Major Battle Stars.  Now on duty at McCook, Nebr., Army Air Field.
BROWN, THEO
Pfc. Theo Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Brown, attended Dawson High School.  Entered service, 1943.  Trained with Marines at San Diego, Calif.  Served at Rio Namur, Saipan, Tinian, Iwo Jima.  Killed in action on Iwo Jima, March 13, 1944.

Cpl. Bobby G. Brown, son of William U. Brown, wife the former Margaret Collins.  Attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service June 1943.  Trained with Army at San Diego, Calif., and Ft. Bliss, El Paso.  Discharged 1944.
BROWN, ADRAIN F.
T/4 Adrain F. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Brown of Corsicana.  Wife, the former Polly Wylie.  Attended Pursley High School.  Entered the Army in 1942, attached to Medical Corps.  Trained at Camp Wolters, Camp Young, Camp Carson.  Served in N. Africa and is now on duty in India.
BROWN, FOY H.
Cpl, Foy H. Brown, foster son of Mr.and Mrs. W. J. Tramel, Kerens, husband of former Reita Parisa. Attended Wilson School. Entered the Army Nov. 17, 1941. Trained at Ft. Sill Okla., Camp Bliss, Tex. Engaged in ETO. Now on duty in Germany. Wounded in action Feb 9, 1945.
