Lt. R. M. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Brown, attended school at Emhouse.  Wife is the former Beatrice LaRough.  Entered the Army in 1940, training at Ft. Benning, Ga.  Served in European Theater.  Wounded 5 times.  Now at Hospital at Ft. Devens, Mass.  Has Purple Heart, 4 Clusters, ETO and Good Conduct Ribbon, Presidential Citation, Silver Wreath.
BROWN, CLIFTON R.
Cpl. Clifton R. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Brown, attended school at Emhouse.  Wife is the former Marie Smith.  Entered the Army in 1942, training at Little Rock.  Served in Alaska, and is now on duty at Camp Hood.

M/Sgt. Oren B. Brown, son of Mrs. Addie Brown, attended school at Montford.  Entered service in 1938, training in Signal Corps at Ft. Francis, Wyoming.  Served in Pacific and is now on duty in Okinawa.

Pfc. Travis J. Brown, grandson of Mrs. Addie Brown, graduated from Emhouse schools.  Entered the Army 1944, training in Field Artillery at Ft. Sill, Okla.  Served in France, Germany, and is now enroute to Pacific.

Pvt. Edward E. Brown, son of Sid Brown, attended Pickett Schools.  Wife is the former Violet Aufderhar.  Entered the Air Corps in 1942, training at Blackland Field, Sheppard Field.  Received Medical Discharge.
BROWN, CECIL L.
F 2/C Cecil L. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown, Barry.  Attended Powell School.  Entered service 1944, training in the Marines at Avalon, Calif.  Served in New Guinea, Puerto Rico.  Now on duty in New York.

Africa, Italy, France, Germany, Austria.  Wounded in Italy, 1944.  Received discharge.  Has Purple Heart, Division Commendation, Five Battle Stars.
