Lt. Colonel Tommy Ney Crowley, son of Mr. T. A. Crowley, Kerens, Texas.  Entered services of U.S., 1927, trained at Ft. Sill, Okla., Ellington Field, Tex., Mitchell Field, N.Y. Has served in Philippines for 6 years, in Belgium, and Germany, now on furlough en route to Pacific T.O.
CROWLEY, CLAIR
Pfc. Clair Crowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Crowley, attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered Marines, 1942, trained at San Diego and Camp Elliott.  Has served in Pacific Theater, now on duty at Corpus Christ.  Has Presidential Citation, and five Battle Stars.
CROW, PAUL M.
Sgt. Paul M. Crow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Crow, husband of the former Frances Mae Glanton, Kerens, attended Burnett High School.  Received training at St. Petersburg, Florida, now on duty in Burma Theater of War.
CUMMINGS, JOHN R.
Pfc. John R. Cummings, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Cummings, Chatfield, husband of the former Jayne Ray, graduate at Rice.  Enlisted in the Army, 1941, spend 18 months in Greenland, received a medical discharge in May 1941.
CUMMINS, EUGENE
Ens. Eugene Cummins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cummins, Corsicana, a graduate of Corsicana High School.  Entered naval Air Corps in 1943, trained at Corpus Christi.  Now on duty at Sanford, Fla.
CUNNINGHAM, ELMO L.
1st Sgt. Elmo L. Cunningham, son of Mrs. Edna Cunningham, Kerens, Texas, husband of the former Miss Janice Blissett, graduate of Kerens High School.  Enlisted in the Marines Jan. 24, 1938, trained at U.S.N.T.S., San diego, Calif.  Has served on New Zealand, Guadalcanal, Bougainville, Guam, now on duty at Charleston, S.C. Has 2 Major Battle Stars.
CUNNINGHAM, WILLIE L.
S/Sgt. Willie L. Cunningham, son of Mrs. Edna Cunningham, Kerens, Texas, attended Rural Shade School.  Mobilized with Texas Natl. Guard Nov., 1940, trained at Camp Bowie, Tex.  Has served on transport vessel out of New Orleans engaged in India-Burma Theater, Honorable Discharge July 11, 1945.
CUNNINGHAM, HERMAN A.
Sgt. Herman A. Cunningham, son of Mrs. Edna Cunningham, Kerens, Texas, attended Kerens High School.  Enlisted in Marines Jan. 24, 1942, trained at U.S.N.T.S., San Diego, Calif.  Has served in Bougainville, Guam, Iwo Jima, killed in action on Okinawa, May 16, 1945.

1st Sgt. Robert A. Cunningham, son of Mrs. Edna Cunningham, Kerens, Tex., graduated from Kerens High School.  Mobilized with 36th Div., Nov., 1940 trained at Camp Bowie, Tex., Camp Edwards, Mass.  Has served in N. Africa-E.T.O. Campaigns, now on duty in Germany.
CUNNINGHAM, DAN B.
1st Lt. Dan B. Cunningham, nephew of Mrs. I. T. Blake and Halley Blake, Corsicana, graduate of Corsicana High School, attended University of Texas.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Air Corps at Santa Anna, Calif., Las Vegas, Nev., Carlsbad, N.M., and Ardmore Okla.  Flew 47 Missions with 15th Air Corps in Italy.  Has D.F.C. Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, EAME Ribbon, 3 Battle Stars, Dist. Unit Citation and other Honors.

Pfc. James R. Cunningham, son of Mr. R. L. Cunningham, Barry. Entered service, 1942, trained with Army at Minter Field, California and Camp Howze.  Has served in France and Germany, where now on duty.

Cpl. Marion L. Cunningham, son of Mr. R. L. Cunningham, Barry attended Corsicana Schools.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Air Corps in England and France, where now on duty.
CUNNINGHAM, SELWYN D.
Sgt. Selwyn D. Cunningham, son of Mr. R. L. Cunningham, Barry.  Entered service, 1941, trained with Army Hq. 11th Armored Infantry, at Camp Wolters, Ft. Knox.  Has served in Ireland, England, Africa and Italy, discharged, 1945.  Has Campaign Ribbons with 6 Bronze Stars, American Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.
CURINGTON, CLIFTON
Pvt. Clifton Curington, son of Mrs. G. W. Howell, husband of the former Miss Opal Thornton, of Kerens.  Entered the Army Air Corps in 1942, trained at Waco Army Flying School.  Was a patient at McCloskey General Hospital until received Honorable Medical Discharge 1943.
CURINGTON, JAMES D.
Cpl. James D. Curington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cap Curington, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mildred Tyner, Kerens, Tex., graduate of Corsicana High School and Tex. Chiropractic College.  Entered Air Corps, trained at S.A.A.C.C., San Antonio, Texas.  Now on duty at C.A.A.F., Childress, Tex.

T/5 Calvin O. Currington, Jr., son of Calvin O. Curington, Sr., Corsicana, attended Corsicana High School, N.T.A.C. and Hillsboro Jr. College.  Entered service, 1943, trained with Army Anti-Aircraft at Camp Wolters, Camp Callan and Stanford University.  Has served in England, France and Belgium, now on duty in France.  Has 5 Battle Stars.
CURRY, R. T.
SC 1/C R. T. Curry, son of Sam Curry, husband of the former Miss Gelene Jordan, attended Blooming Grove School.  Entered service, 1942, trained at Norfolk with the Navy, now on duty in Philippines.

CURTIS, WILLMOTTE S.
Capt. Willmote S Curtis, son of Mrs. W. S. Curtis, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Edith Etta Wilds.  Entered service, 1940, trained with Field Artillery at San Antonio, Camp Bowie, and Fort Sill.  Has served in North Africa, Italy with 36th Division.  Holds Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Pvt. Johnie O. Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Daniels, Corsicana, husband of the former Miss Mae Pennington, attended school in Corsicana.  Entered the Army in 1944, trained at Camp Hood.  Has served overseas duty in the South Pacific.
