Nolan Brown, 57, Dies In Waco, Services Held At Blooming Grove Baptist
Nolan Carl Brown's funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 7, in Central Baptist
Church, followed by burial at Rose
Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove.
A native of Frost, the 57-year-old accountant died Saturday, Feb. 5, in
Providence Hospital in Waco.
Officiating at the services were the Rev. E. A. Jordan and the Rev. J. W.
Hodges. Bradley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
A former resident of Blooming Grove and Frost, Brown had lived in Waco some 9
years. He was a veteran of
World War II.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maxine Gellen Brown of Waco; one son, Bobby
Brown of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hodges of Barry; one sister, Mrs.
Lenner Faye DeWolfe of Bay City; and four grandchildren.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
