WWII Pilot wings, wallet & licenses 1942
This is a collection of items that belonged to
Samuel Beck, an army flight instructor at Corsicana, Texas in World
War II. This man later worked for Piper Aircraft. The group includes
a leather wallet with gold embossed wing logo and the title, "Pilots
License", a pair of small pinback wings (may be sterling), Pilot's
Medical Certificate, Ground Instructor certificate, and Pilot's
license with photo identification. These items are dated
1942.
