Pvt. O. C. Bruner, Company D. 143rd Infantry,
36th Division, trained at Camp Bowie and went overseas in July, 1918. Upon
arrival was sent to training area in vicinity of Bar-sur-Aube. Went into
action in Meuse-Argonne on October 6, 1918. After armistice was signed he
returned to the States and received discharge June 13, 1919.
