Biography - Anguish McAlister Hughes

This photo is Anguish McAlister Hughes (aka MC or Mack Hughes) He lived his youth in Spring Hill, Texas region of Navarro County beginning abt 1844, is the son of Moses McAlister Hughes, until leaving for Indian Territories of Oklahoma in about 1880 by way of Clay County Texas.

Mack then returned to Navarro County abt 1905 where he passes away at home in Purdon, Texas b.1843 - d.1921 and believed interned next to his first wife in Younger Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
