Pvt. A. D. Jordan, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Jordan of Navarro County, was born September 17, 1889.  He received his early education at Frost, Texas.  Enlisted for service June 1, 1916, and was stationed at Norfolk, Virginia.  Went overseas August 28, 1918.  After signing of the armistice he was returned to Porto Rico, at which place he is now stationed.
