Nephew of Robert Harve Matthews

 

Robert Harvey Matthews, Jr was born Maury Co Tennessee in 1837 and, probably came to Texas in 1869 with other members of his family by wagon train.    He married 1872 Frances Staaden, daughter of Louis Jacob Staaden Jr and Christina Hagel, both of whom has migrated to Texas from Germany.
