This place is
in deep woods and the man that owns the land now took us over to it. He knew just where the grave was. But it is in such a mess there really is not a way to
tell where it is.
In the cemetery survey that the Keathley's did in 1988 they have the directions
as "In S. E. Navarro Co., at the intersection of FM Rd 308, go east on dirt rd 2.2 mile. Cemetery is across open pasture in deep woods. Stock tank near by."
That should be the intersection of FM Rd 309. And there is no open field anymore. It is very grown up. I did not read your email until we got back so I
did not get the # of the road. It is the Ingram Cemetery.
The owner has stopped the cattle from roaming on it about 5 years ago.
He would like for the cemetery to be cleaned up and said that any volunteers were welcome.
