East Siders Win Over West Siders At Blooming Grove

The East Side softball team at Blooming Grove Friday night defeated the West Siders, 18-5, in a cemetery benefit attraction, Drew Gillen, county commissioner, reported here Saturday.  Another game is planned soon.

Rev. Maggart B. Howell, pastor of the Methodist Church, was the winning pitcher, while Dr. Burke was the losing flinger.  Dr. Burke hit a home run for the losers while W. A. Crawford, editor of the Blooming Grove Times, also hit for the circuit.
