Building Burns. Loss is Heavy.
Fire in the three story building at the corner of Collin and 11th
streets, caused heavy losses partly covered by insurance, Wednesday
afternoon about 2 o'clock, the fire started in Judge Traylor's bed
room on the third floor. No one was in the room at the time and how
it started, no one knows. Doctors offices take up the second floor.
E. A. Johnson druggist and Cal Kerr, Burgess & Co, and the Business
League rooms occupy the two first floors.
The damage is great and the loss is only partly covered by
insurance. The fireman did a great piece of work, and were
complimented by thousands upon confining the fire to the roof of the
building.
