As we all know, websites are easy to update and make corrections... books are not. For that reason, we have created a "Corrections" page for each of the published Navarro County History Volumes. I have already received a couple of updates and have found a few for my family as well. If you know of any errors in these volumes, just eMail them to Edward L. Williams and we will get them posted. Please include as proof for the correction as you can.

PG 23 - SUSAN TRUSS BUTLER

Currie and Susan married in Blount Co., Ala. I have not written for the marriage certificate yet, but had a woman do a look up for me and she gave me the date as April 25, 1857. Now you have April 28, 1857, so the 25th could possibly be the day the license was issued. Do you know that Curry was married before he married Susan? He had 2 children by his 1st wife. One of them was the John Thomas Butler that I sent the obit on.
