James McGaw's family's home in Currie, Navarro Co., TX during the 1920s oil
boom. James Jordan McGaw, Jr. (then single) and his unmarried sister, Mary Jane,
lived in the home at the time and are standing outside in the photo. The third
person standing in front of the home is probably their married brother, Samuel
Clark McGaw. Before 1900, they and their mother had bought 122 acres of land
near what was then called the Rabbit Hill Community of Navarro County, Texas.
