Butler SMITH who lived Navarro County unknown period of time. One child, Jesse
Archibald, was born at Spring Hill 8 Feb. 1876. Other children: Nancy Elizabeth,

Some of my ancestors lived in Ellis/Navarro Counties between ca 1864-1902. Jacob
A. HESSER (b. 1838 Sangamon Co. Ill.) m/1 Margaret H. MARCHBANKS (prob. b. Tenn.
1833). He apparently m/2 Charlotte McKENNEY. An obit for a Maggie H. Hesser
printed in the Corsicana Observer in 1874 states she died in Ellis County. One
Jacob A. Hesser was living in Corsicana in 1880, per census. Any help
appreciated.

HALEY. One dau. who died ini 1917 and Mary in 1918. One Bartie STORY died in
1883 and is buried in the Corsicana cemetery. Not much to go on, so any

as horse thieves).
