grandfather, Thomas A. Price lists one of his surviving sisters as Mary H.
Price. She was listed in the 1920 Navarro County census as "Hybernia."

know nothing about James except he is supposed to be part Indian. Some letters

Researching the BRAY family in Navarro County. In a conversation with my aunt,
aged 92, I was told that most of the family is buried in a cemetery by the old
Alley Store and that President Bush put a plaque on the cemetery. Buried there
would probably be Joel, Margaret, George and Jess Bray; possibly Ben and Bessie
Robinson and maybe some Nobels.

My gr-grandparents, William Rufus and MaryEtta Tadlock lived in the Dawson
Community - also Spring Hill and Liberty Hill. They buried two children, Lee
Edward in 1901 and Ruby in 1011. W. R. died in 1913 and MaryEtta in 1918; there
are no records of Lee's burial place, but Ruby is buried at either Liberty Hill
or Spring Hill Cemetery. If I can find out what church the family attended,
perhapsthere would be a record of the burial of the children. When MaryEtta died
her two minor children went to the Methodist Orphanage in Waco and Lillie May
was adopted in March 1919.

Would appreciate information on burial places of Lee Edward TADLOCK (d. 1901)
and Ruby TADLOCK (d. Feb. 1911, age. 2-1/2 mos). The family lived in Dawson but
I think courthouse records give Ruby's place of burial as Liberty Hill Cemetery
or perhaps Springhill Cemetery. I would think they would be buried in the same
cemetery.

My grandfather, Jesse Robert PICKLE, taught school in Rural Shade in 1898 and
married a student, Annie Denise BRADLEY, Oct. 25, 1899. Annie's parents were J.
Beryl Bradley and Mary Taylor; father left and mother disappeared into Indian
Territory and Annie was reared in Rural Shade by her uncle and aunt, Andrew and
Lula Sears. I am trying to find what actually happened to Grandma's parents and
why she was raised by these people. I would like to contact any members of the
PAUL family, said to be related.

Searching for information on the OWEN family who lived near Kerens. My
gggrandmother was Liza Owen and m/1 George Valkey and m/2 a Mr. Noble. My
ggrandmother was Cordelia Valkey who married John Talmadge Etheridge and had
four daughters, one of whom was my grandmother, Johnie Etheridge who married
Eddie Smith of Kerens. Their dau. was Walter Valkey Smith McCord.

married in Maury Co. Tenn. in 1874. They had children: Florence, James Henry,
John Morgan, Carrie, Franklin Lafayette, Kirkland Brown, Revis Wyatt and Albert
Vaughn Perry - the last three born in Texas.

Henry Harrison GRIMMETT and wife Sarah Jane KELLY are listed on the 1880 Navarro
census with children Benjamin S., William S., and Thomas N. A daughter, Mollie,
was born later. I am looking for any information on this family.

B. F. Watts died in Navarro County 20 Feb 1934 and Mrs. C. C. Stead's name is
shown as his daughter on the application for mortuary document. Who is she? We
knew of only three of his children: George Thomas Watts (my gr-grandfather),
brother, Jonie and sister, Nellie Pearl. B. F. moved to Texas from Ala. in 1882.
Does anyone know what the initials "B. F." stand for?

William Floyd HENDERSON (1863-1928) married Mollie H. BAKER (1870-1919) 26 Dec.
1887 Ala., and moved to Navarro County prior 1902. Both are buried in Old
Chatfield Cemetery. Children: Belle A.; Jewell James (or Jones); A. Floy; Carl;
Carrie Mae (b. 12 Sept 1902 Chatfield; d. 1994 Wilbarger Co. Tex; Albert Carter
(b. 25 May 1905 Nav Co; d. 1922 Tex); Alvus (b/d 1905 Nav Co); Theodore
Roosevelt, (b. 1906 Nav Co; d. 1979 Alamogordo, NM); Ruby Hazel, (b. 1910; d.
1978 Harris Co. Tex. Will appreciate any information on the above.

Looking for information on my family. Found family plot in Oakwood Cemetery in
Corsicana, with two unmarked graves. According to George Berry (my Dad), they
are graves of his brother and sister who died before he was born in 1930. My gr-grand-
parents are also buried there with markers of only "Father" and
"Mother." I believe my gr-grandmother was Ella Celia Berry Barnes, b.
1859 Ala; d. 1928 Nav. Co. , dau. of George Berry. My gr-grandfather was John
Franklin Barnes who supposedly died in the early 1930s. Will appreciate any
information on this family.
