The First Methodist Church, built in 1896, was the most beautiful church in Corsicana.  The stain glass window on the north side, donated by The Young Ladies Aid Society, represents "Ruth and Naomi".  The windows on the east side, "The Lord is My Shepherd" was donated by Mrs. B. Jester.  "Come Unto Me" by J. L. Halbert, "Blessed Are the Dead Who Die in The Lord" by Rev. and Mrs. W. H. McKinney.  The window on the south side by the alter, on the left side donated by by Earnest Workers, and on the right side by Epworth League.  The window on the back of the pulpit was donated by L. S. Tatum and wife.
