DE WITTT MCMURRAY TO DELIVER CLASS
ADDRESS AT BARRY
BARRY, May 26.—(Spl.)—The
commencement exercises for the Barry High school will be held in the
high school auditorium at 8:30 with DeWitt McMurray as the principal
speaker. The following are graduating: Alvis Bourland, valedictorian;
Ima Mitchell salutatorian; Eura Davis, Robert, Varnell, Buell Robison,
Annie Mae Runnells.
The grammar school exercises will be held in the
high school auditorium Thursday evening at 8:30 Rev. Bruce Cox, pastor
of the First Methodist church of this place will be the principal
speaker.
Many people of this
community have heard Mr. McMurray, who is the editor of the Semi-Weekly
Farm News, and we feel that many will be out to hear him. Below is the
program for commencement night. May 27, 8:30:
