Reunion of Graduates Of 1904 of Corsicana Hi School Held

Something in the nature of a reunion of the class of 1904 of the Corsicana
High school was held Saturday, April 22, as one of its faraway members Joe
Morris of Denver, Colo., happened to be visiting her friend and classmates
of 1904. Mrs. John Nichols of Dallas, and the two came down for the day to
meet as many of the class as possible.
Mrs. Morris was formerly Miss Louise Moseley, and Mrs. Nichols was formerly
Miss Emma Mikel.
They were luncheon guests at noon of Mrs. Byron Cheney, as Mr. Cheney was a
member of the class. In the afternoon hour they were joined by Mrs. Roscoe
Cook of Houston, the former Miss Alma Martin, who came up especially to be
with Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Allyn Gordon, the former Miss Myra Vaughn; Mrs. H. B.
Bomar, the former Miss Mabel Caston; Mrs. E. H. Dockery, the former Miss
Katherine McDaniel; Mrs. Allen Edens, the former Miss Allie Cherry, and Mrs.
G. H. Ferrell, the former Miss Alice Pryne.
They were joined by Mrs. Morris’ sister, Mrs. Skipworth, who was formerly
Miss Lorena Moseley, who was not a member of the class.
Messrs. L. G. Kerr, Sydney Marks and Allyn Gordon and Mrs. Louis Polk,
members of the class, who were out of the city.
