Frost Schools To
Close May 29th;
Speakers Named

FROST, May 20 (Spl)--Fred
McClung, minister of the West
Side Church of Christ, Corsicana,
will deliver the baccalaureate sermon
for the 1949 graduates of the
Frost High School at the Baptist
church Sunday evening, May 29,
at 8 o'clock.
Hon. Jerry Stockard, member of
the Texas legislature from Navarro
county, Frost resident and a
local high school graduate, will
deliver the graduation address in
the gymnasium-auditorium, Friday
evening, June 3 at 8 o'clock.
Stockard made an outstanding record
in Frost High School and later
graduated from the Hillsboro
Junior College and the University
of Texas Law School. He served
4 1-2 years in the U. S. Air Force
during World War II.
Bobby Templeton is valedictorian
with a yearly average of 97.8. Joyce
Omberg won salutatorian honors
with a 97.4 average grade, and
Billy Ruth Fly was third with 97.2
average.
