WON IVERSON CUP

Blooming Grove High Wins Over
Frost High School.

  The Blooming Grove Basket Ball
team, Evadna Yarber, Mary Haden,
forwards; Mae Roebuck, Kate Martin,
centers; Myrtle Smith,, Ruth Richards,
guards; won over Rice high
school at the county meet today with
a score of 51 to 21. B. G. H. S. girls
won the handsome loving cup given
by H. Iversen of Corsicana.

   Out of 14 games only one has been
lost and this one was out of the
county.

   A junior boy. Vernon Stokes, in the
B. G. H. S. won the first place in
the essay contest of this county.

Watch the High School at Blooming
Grove soar. It has a superintendent
and a corps of teachers to get results.
