As 2nd lieutenant, served with 8th Air Force as bombadier on B-24 Liberator, flew 8 missions, on last mission 2 engines were shot out over Friedrichshaven in southern Germany, crash landed in
Switzerland and then interned in for 1 year before released during a prisoner exchange. Founded Ad Graphics Inc. ad agency in NYC after the war, resided in Roslyn Heights NY and the retired to Florida during the 1980s. He was a good father and husband to his family.
