SAYS FRANCE PRETTY PLACE
Corsicana Soldier boy Has Seen Many German Prisoners
Somewhere in France. Aug 25, 1918 Dear Mother:
I will write you and let you know that I am all O.K. and
getting along fine. Hope that all of the folks are the
same. This is a pretty country (over here) and the
weather is somewhat cooler here than at home. Some of us
are living in the houses with the French people and we
have pretty jolly ties trying to talk to them. I have
seen a good many German prisoners since being here.
I have not seen Sam King since we moved.
Well, mother, don't you worry about me, as I am in good
health and feeling fine. Tell the family hello and give
them my best regards. Just keep addressing my mail as
you have been. Well, will close for his time. With love,
EARL SHEETS Co. C. 20th M.G.B. A.E.F. |
